Conventional belt skivers are usually manually operated, which necessitates more strength and time – but this new product makes everyday work much more manageable. Of course, safe handling is also guaranteed, despite the higher speed.
Flexco Europe offers the easy-to-use FSK2MP in two sizes: One version is suitable for skiving belts with thicknesses from 6.5 to 32 millimeters, while the other can tackle thicknesses of 22.5 to 44.5 millimeters. The user can easily adjust the belt skiver to cutting depths of 1.5 to 9.5 millimeters, and greater depths are easily achieved with several passes. The fence can also be adapted to match the required belt fastener sizes. The front drive rollers also grip the belt at the start to prevent slippage. The new FSK2MP is lightweight and easy to transport.
