Mogensen was previously part of the Allgaier Group, headquartered in Uhingen, a former company of the former employer association President Dr. Dieter Hundt. Difficulties in the automotive industry forced the Allgaier Group to file for insolvency last summer.
"The product range featuring screening, sorting and washing solutions for the recycling, animal feed, food, chemical and pharmaceutical industry complements the strategic focus of the JOEST group," stated Dr. Hans Moormann and Dr. Marcus Wirtz, Managing Partners of the JOEST group. Especially, the Mogensen Sizer (MSizer) is worldwide known for it’s unique and leading screening technology.
The companies acquired by the JOEST group will continue to operate as independent entities, with all 140 employees retained. The locations both domestically and internationally will be continued unchanged. Overall, the JOEST group achieves a turnover of 180 million euros and employs around 1,150 people worldwide.
