Latvia – New kiln line n.5 for Broceni plant for Cemex
Bedeschi completed in 2009 the commissioning for equipment installed in the Raw Material handling department and in the Raw Material and Additives’ Hoppers department for the new kiln line n.5 of 3.500 tpd clinker capacity in Broceni (Latvia) for the customer Cemex.
The supply include mainly 1 Stacker STK 20/1000 (700 pth) and 1 side bucket reclaimer BELS 300/27 (300 tph) for the limestone longitudinal storage and 1 Stacker 20/800 (150 tph) and 1 side bucket reclaimer BELS 100/27 (100 tph) for the clay longitudinal storage.
The receiving department is equipped with a Bedeschi Apron Feeder CNA type and a double roller crusher RS 650/100 type with a 150 tph capacity for clay,with an Apron Feeder CNA type (150 tph) for iron ore and an Apron Feeder CNA type (700 tph) for limestone.
In the Raw Material hoppers as well as Additives’ ones have been installed 7 Bedeschi Apron Feeders CNSD type (1500 and 2000 mm wide) for extraction of different materials (capacities ranging 50-350 tph).
In this project the Bedeschi long time experience in wet material handling (especially clay 25-30% moisture content) was particularly effective both in design and outcome with the handling approach using the bucket reclaimers. In the clay crushing department the special features of the double roller teethed crusher with its internal adjustable scrapers and the feeder with its special design reel and curved apron profile allow a lean and clean transport of the wet material and just avoid main clogging problems.

Morocco – New kiln line n.2 for Tetouan plant for Lafarge
Bedeschi completed in 2009 the commissioning for the complete set of equipment installed in the Raw Material handling department for the new line n.2 of 2.300tpd clinker capacity in Tetouan (Morocco) for the customer Lafarge.
In 2002 Bedeschi commissioned in the same plant all the Raw Material Handling equipment for line No. 1.
The request for plant capacity upgrade (today is double than in the past) and the successful partnership with Lafarge determined the follow-up of the relationship with Bedeschi also for line No. 2.
The main supply consists of the equipment for a new circular storage (9.000 ton limestone capacity, 53 m rail diam) with Stacker STK 15/1000 (600 tph) and bridge scraper reclaimer PALT 100/23 (200 tph), 1 longitudinal additives storage fed by a stacking unit wit tripper TRP 7,5/800 (600tph) and reclaimed by bucket side reclaimer BELF 160/18 (150 m3/h).
The receiving department for clay has been also supplied and includes an Apron Feeder CNA type 9/1200 (250 tph).
The supply is completed with all the belt conveyor connecting the storages up to the Raw Meal Feed Bins (total length 1.3 km).
All bag filters (6 units 5.000 m3/h each) for the dedusting in transport line have been supplied by CTPTeam, the Bedeschi company specialized in gas cleaning solutions.

Saudi Arabia – Revamping Raw Material handling for Rabigh plant for Arabian Cement
Bedeschi completed in Summer 2010 the commissioning for new equipment installed in the Raw Material Longitudinal Storages for the old kiln lines No. 1- 4 in Rabigh (K.S.A.) for the customer Arabian Cement Co.
After the successful installation of the complete Raw Material Handling department equipment for the new line n.6 in Rabigh, Bedeschi was awarded the revamping of the old equipment in the Raw Material Handling department for lines 1-4.
The department is composed by n.2 longitudinal storages previously used for limestone and clay in lines n.1-4. The start-up of the new line n.6 in yr 2008 required the complete update of the equipment installed there and relevant upgrade of the capacities of the stacking and reclaiming machines.
The supply include n.1 Stacker STK 24/1000 (750pth) and n.1 bridge scraer reclaimer PALT 160/30+4 (450tph) for the adaptation of the old limestone longitudinal storage to future clay storage and n.1 Stacker 16.5/800 (300tph) and n.1 bridge scraer reclaimer PALT 100/22+4 (200tph) for the adaptation of the old clay longitudinal storage to new sandstone storage.

Morocco – Ait Baha new greenfield Cement plant for Italcementi
Bedeschi completed in Autumn 2010 the commissioning for the Raw Material Handling Department for the new greenfield plant 5.000 tpd clinker capacity in Ait Baha (Morocco, south of Agadir) for the customer Ciments du Maroc (Italcementi Group).
The main supply consist of the equipment for the 4 new longitudinal storages named for limestone, clay, cement additives and coal; all of them are managed by Stacker (4 units) and Reclaimer (4 bridge type and 1 side scraper type).
Bedeschi equipment include also the complete transport system from the limestone crushing dept (feeding line 2000 tph capacity with a belt conveyor 1.5 km long) and from all the receiving platforms up to the raw material stockyards (total conveyor length about 5.200 m). Furthermore the conveyor lines link the 4 storages to the raw meal hoppers, additives’ ones as well as to the coal mill.
There are 4 receiving platforms for clay (500 tph capacity with reversible apron feeder RNSR type2,2m wide), cement additives (2 units 150 tph capacity each with hopper feeder CNT type 2,5m wide) and coal (150 tph capacity with reversible apron feeder RNSR type2,2m wide).
All bag filters (17 units with capacities ranging 4.000-40.000 m3/h) for the dedusting in transport line have been supplied by CTPTeam, the Bedeschi company specialized in gas cleaning solutions.
Bedeschi supply finally include one bucket elevator for the raw meal additives’ hopper feeding (150 tph capacity 38 m high) and a coal screen installed in the receiving platform for this material as well all the engineering for the manufacturing and erection of all the steelworks included in the Raw Material Handling Department.
