The trade visitors of the SCANPACK can look forward to a special highlight from Germany: In Gothenburg, Feige FILLING, a global leader in the filling engineering sector, will present a special version of its Type 16 – a pre-configured pivoting pallet filling station with two different scale bases to choose from. With the Type 16, the company headquartered in Bad Oldesloe in northern Germany is in-troducing a powerful filling station from the Compact Line series. While meeting the most sophisticated demands, it is fast and easy to set up. It is designed for semi-automatic filling of cans, drums and IBCs from 2.5 to 1,500 kg on pallets with calibrated accuracy.
Clear-cut plug & fill technology
The filling station is capable of all functions of a gravimetric filling machine. Its sub-assemblies are attached to a sturdy column structure. Thanks to the pre-configuration, it has short delivery periods and is easy to set up. Furthermore, the equipment is extremely flexible, allowing for filling of IBCs of a maximum height of 1,160 mm. All control and oper-ation elements are located at the filling station for greater ease of operation. For all these reasons, the Type 16 is a highly cost-efficient solution.
Our customers can be certain to receive premium FEIGE quality down to the smallest detail. Well-established components from the modular FEIGE system – such as the balanced fill-ing valve in the quick-change clamp which is free of dead space – have been integrated into the system. Furthermore, highly useful additional equipment can be included: for example independent or actuated drip collecting, overfill alarms, gas extraction, a matching product host system and many more.
Choose the scale base tailored to your requirements
The fully electro-mechanical scale base with stainless steel weighing cells is another advan-tage of the Type 16. It is available in U-shape, as a floor scale with conveyor system and collecting basin, or as a flip-open pit scale. For small containers, a mobile version of the scale base is available as well. Furthermore, the equipment can be supplied with an acid protection coat or in stainless steel.
