THE 3rd SHIPLOADER SUPPLIED BY TENOVA TO CVRD IN SAO LUIS PIER III IS NOW OPERATIVE

The new Shiploader (CN05) of 10,000 tph design capacity, substantially identical to the two shiploaders already operating with full satisfaction of the customer on the CVRD (Companhia Vale do Rio Doce) Pier III of Sao Luis (Brazil), has successfully begun the loading operations before starting the performances tests.
The Shiploader, designed as“travel type” loading equipment and able to load out material into ships up to 200,000 DWT (Capesize vessels), is the fifth shiploader ordered by CVRD to Tenova for the Sao Luis Terminall.
Tenova is proud to have, once more, completely met the specific needs of CVRD, the world’s leading iron ore miner, for the expansion of its Sao Luis iron ore shipping terminal.
