I am trying to find manufacturers for a Coal/Bark Handling system which is often recognized as a Fuel Storage System since this coal, bark, woodchips, etc will be fed with the required capacity into a power boiler. So this is mainly related to a storage system rather thana handling system although both cannot be separated.

I found BMH Environment Oy, Roxon Oy and Andritz, but I need more info to recognize their capabilities since they may have different approaches.

Therefore, please suggest/inform who else is expert in supplying that kind of equipment called: Fuel Storage System.

Thanks for your sincere attention and look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

greetings, you really need to give more information to the forum,

we do not know the type of boilers you are using or whether they are assembled in series or whether you reuse your heat

energy before you return it discharge etc.

We need to know if you are using stokers to be sure as this what it sounds like to me.

you also do not tell the forum what type of storage you are looking for as this will have a major effect on what you want to do. It is fine to mention companies but unless you tell us more there is no point as we are stymied or at least I am as to what you require

Sorry for being very slow in responding.

Basically the equipment is sort of tapered screw conveyor that will move horizontally right and left in the closed area (warehouse) that full of dumped green coke and coal. This left-right movement follow by its axial turn, collects the coke/coal and transferred to the end of it tail and feed into a conveyor which is ready to bring these coke/coal to the boiler as a fuel.

I have no further detail about this type but I saw it somewhere.

If you have info about this, please let me know.

thank you so much.

BASICALLY THIS TYPE OF EQUIMENT CALLED AUGURES AND ARE SUITABLE FOR WOODCHIPS,BARKS ETC. FOR COAL THIS WILL BE A VERY COSTLY AFFAIR .WE HAVE SUPPLIED SIMILAR SYSTEM FOR RICE IN JORDAN.

WE CAN ALSO DESIGN A VERY COMPETITIVE SYSTEM FOR COAL ALSO.YOU CAN FABRICATE THE SAME IN YOUR COUNTRY WITH OUR SPECIFICATIONS.

DURING COAL TRANS EXHIBITION IN DELHI WE MET LOT OF BIG COMPANIES FROM INDONESIA LIKE PT. TTI TRANSGLOBAL, PT ADARO INDONESIA,PT ARPENI PRATMA OCEAN LINE AND OTHERS AND ARE EXCHANGING OUR VIEWS AND EXPOSURES WITH THEM IN MATERIAL FIELDS.

SINCE COMPANIES LIKE BECHTEL,FLUOR DANIEL.SIEMENS ARE USING INDIA AS A HUB FOR ENGINEERING WHY NOT YOUR GOODSELF SHOULD ALSO THINK ON SIMILAR LINE.BY THE WAY WE HAVE GOT ONE CLIENT IN INDONESIA FPR WHOM E ARE DOING BARGE MODIFICATION JOB.

to keep it simple you should use a dump bin that has an apron feeder underneeth it so you will move all the material to the boiler and have little risk of fire in you storage biulding- since you are apparently feeding a stoker you can have an apron feeder do all the work with little trouble. you can use a bucket elevator to feed the stoker itself with few problems.

dear izharis, I AM FULLY INLINE WITH YOUR STATEMENT.BUT IN THESE TYPES OF PLANTS THEIR IS ALWAYS A STORAGE FOR MIN. 2-3 WEEKS AND AGAIN THIS DEPENDS UPON THE SUPPLY OF THAT FUEL TO THAT PARTICULAR PLANT.YOUR SYSTEM WILL BE USEFULL AFTER THE EXTRACTION OF MATERIAL FROM THE STORAGE AREA.AGAIN FEEDING THE MATERIAL IN THE DUMP BIN MEANS HAVING FIGHTING WITH POLLUTION DEPARMENT.

Dear Mr. Anil,

Sounds interesting.

is there any website or other info that I can get clearer idea?

I heard that sort of system is not suitable for coal, but if I'm not mistaken, Andritz capable to do that for coal. It named reclaimer.

thanks.

dear Andrianto S Sundoro,

THANKS FOR YOUT STATEMENT.IF SOME THING SOUNDS INTESTED TO YOUR GOODSELF,THEN WE HAVE SOME MORE TUNES FOR YOUR EARS--

LOOK FOR THE COMPANY CALLED MORILLON,ANDREZE-FRANCE.

AND CONTACT esi@eurosilo.com.PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE TYPES OF SYSTEMS ARE VERY-VERY COSYLY AND MOSTLY USED WHERE YOU NEED HIGH FEDING AND EXTRACTION RATES AND ALSO WHERE YOU HAVE VERY LESS SPACE.

FOR ONE OF OUR CLIENTS WE HAVE DONE THE SYSTEM OF DESIGNING FOR 5 MTPA COAL UNLODING TERMINAL WHERE WE HAVE SHOWN THE VARIOUS STAGES LIKE UNLOADING OF COAL FROM THE SHIPS @2000 TPH,STACKING,RECLAIMING,HIGH SPEED WAGON LOADING SYSTEM@5500 TPH AND CONVEYING TO POWER PLANT.THE SIMILAR TYPE OF SYSTEM WE DID AT NCL.NEVEYELI LIGNITE CORPORATION.

Thanks again Mr. Seth,

Yes, I've just seen Morillon and their Hydrascrew is very similar to what Andritz and BMH has. These 2 companies only dealt with wooden material (bark, chip, peat etc) but they have difficulty to deal with coal and green coke.

I don't know if there other alternatives system to deal with, since this is idea of using reclaimer system to coal was built from understanding that reclaimer system performs well.
