Inclined Screw Conveyor

I would like to recover/reclaim the stone and slurry water from concrete.

I would like to design a screw conveyor that works at an incline so that the stone comes out the top of the screw and the water/ slurry at the bottom .

I would like to process 10 t/hr

De-Watering Screw

Design information of specialised process functions is generally hard earned and experienced manufacturers are not likely to share such information with one who wishes to design his own equipment. Information in the public domain is usually related to conventional conveying and feeding, and this application has various aspects that can give problems or prevent efficient operation, not least being the stiffness of a strong concrete mix and the hazard of the aggregate jamming the screw. I would strongly recommend caution in moving forward on this one. ■
