I recall that toner can be added to cement, resulting in a secondary reaction with excess di calcium silicate within the Cementitious materials, rather like GGBFS. It could be possible to use such a waste in the construction industry. ■

Almost everything humans manufacture creates waste that must be dealt with. Some of it can be recycled and used in alternative applications, others require that the waste be disposed of. I note that Dos Santos sandwich belt high angle conveyors are great for handling waste materials which tend to be voluminous, non-uniform in flow, sticky, etc. They utilize all conventional conveyor equipment and components including smooth surfaced rubber belts that can be continuously scraped clean. They have no capacity limitations. There are commercial installations handling municipal and industrial sludge, sludge and sawdust, in composting plants, and RDF (refuse derived fuel, which is garbage).
