Waste Management & Recycling

Posted in: , on 16. Jul. 2009 - 06:26

Hi all,

Waste has become a burden to the environment. Biodiversity and habitat loss is just increasing due to huge volumes of waste and unauthorised damping.

I would like to start a discussion on waste management & recycling activity as a way to minimize pollution and optimize the coexistance. For more than one year I am engaged in developing such a project and want to buid up a cooperation with interested groups/bodies.

Looking forward to working with you

Regards

-Andy

Waste Toner To Landfill

Posted on 22. Jul. 2009 - 02:12

This is my main environmental concern that I have posted:

We are a toner plant that landfills our bulk toners that are not able to be recycled, out of spec, or from scrubber or vacuum systems. Anyone doing anything else, anything environmentally friendly, sell for energy generation?

Trying to think green , and help the bottom line

I recall that toner can be added to cement, resulting in a secondary reaction with excess di calcium silicate within the Cementitious materials, rather like GGBFS. It could be possible to use such a waste in the construction industry.

Waste is an international problem. Businesses should consider recycling waste computers

Waste Recycling Research

Posted on 27. Aug. 2010 - 09:21

Almost everything humans manufacture creates waste that must be dealt with. Some of it can be recycled and used in alternative applications, others require that the waste be disposed of. I'm sure there are other companies that develop these types of technology and processes, but here's one that seems to address several disposal and recycling options.

Hazardous Waste Gas

Alumina Waste Recycling

Sodium Waste Recycling

Radioactive Waste Stream Recycling

Waste management is really very necessary in today's time to save our mother earth. I am associated with the recycling of cardboard boxes to make corrugated boxes so that the use of plastic bags is completely banned.

I think people should come forward and only buy cardboard packaging products.

Waste Management & Recycling

I note that Dos Santos sandwich belt high angle conveyors are great for handling waste materials which tend to be voluminous, non-uniform in flow, sticky, etc. They utilize all conventional conveyor equipment and components including smooth surfaced rubber belts that can be continuously scraped clean. They have no capacity limitations. There are commercial installations handling municipal and industrial sludge, sludge and sawdust, in composting plants, and RDF (refuse derived fuel, which is garbage).

Consider Dos Santos sandwich belt high angle conveyors for your high angle elevating requirements.
