Dual motor vibrating sifter - material rotating the wrong

I have a dual motor vibrating sifter (pictured below). For some reason the product (granular activated carbon) is flowing counterclockwise in the sifter rather than clockwise. The material in the machine is meant to flow clockwise. Any suggestions on adjustments would be appreciated.

Motors both turning counterclockwise (as recommended by Sweco (though machine not a Sweco))

.25kw x 2 motors

This equipment is connected to a VFD so I am able to vary the motor speed.

Thanks in advance.

first check is to make sure that the motors are mounted with the axis opposite each others angle in relation to the center-line of the screen. If not they will counter act and you would get very little flow if any. We can't see the other motor in the picture.

To determine the motor rotation look at the ends of the motors as if you were standing on top of the screen. The end of the motor you see is the where you determine the direction of rotation and yes they should be CCW.

If you need to change and motors are 3 phase then reverse the phase on both motors to change the direction (or one only if this is determined that only one was rotating wrong).

or if single phase you can reverse the orientation of how each motor is mounted thus changing the direction of rotation. The amplitude is all in the angle of the motors to the screen if yours is adjustable. But make sure they are set at the same opposing angles.

You wont hurt it - just play around with it until you get the flow the way you want it.

Of course always practice lock out - tag out procedures prior to working on any piece of equipment.

Thanks Gary.

Motors are mounted so that each axis is opposed to each other.

Angle of motor / amplitude is not adjustable.

I will tweak speed and weight to see if I can improve things.
