Re: Reversible Motor
It has been done. Implications and caveats are many that are addressed with proper design. ■
Re: Reversible Motor
Dear Shri Ravi,
Stacker reclaimer operating in conjunction with reversible yard conveyor is a routine installation. Obviously, the drive motor for such conveyor would have reversible running in context of the direction of motion of belt conveyor. The conveyor design for such yard conveyor requires specialised analysis and decisions in design of the conveyor, so that the conveyor along with the stacker reclaimer machine operate properly. The conveyor design and the machine design has to be complementary to each other in interfacing zone. The ill-designed conveyor can create difficulty in operation of the system.

Reversible motor
Dear all,
Can any body please clarify weather we can install a Reversible motor for a Conveyor of 800 mts length (C-C) and a stacker cum reclaimer getting operated on this conveyor. If there are any practical & theoretical implications for this particular set-up, please let me know.
Sincerely
Ravi ■
