There are thousands of Pelletron DeDusters installed in plastic processing, plastic manufacturing, and plastic recycling plants throughout the world. Pelletron’s customers rely on their DeDusters for the removal of dust, streamers, metal dust, and other contaminants.
What’s new?
• 50% height reduction! The already low height of the DeDusters is cut in half to reduce the installation height
• 100% increase of the cleaning area! The surfaces of the cleaning decks are doubled to increase the cleaning efficiency and throughput.
• Energy saving! Air consumption is reduced by optimizing the air distribution design.
• Venturi effect! The newly designed Venturi zone increases the Venturi effect and reduces the carry over to an absolute minimum.
Pelletron’s XP-Series DeDusters are the most compact DeDusters on the market today. DeDusters are available in various sizes for discharge capacities from 500kg/h up to of 100t/h. The DeDuster separates particles as small as one (1) micron, as well as long streamers, all in ONE machine. The system is ideal for all types of granular products that need to be cleaned before packaging, shipping or processing.
The well-proven electromagnetic coil feature remains unchanged. The electromagnetic field breaks the static bond between the electrostatic charged plastic pellet and the small dust particles. Dust particles as small as 1 micron will be removed efficiently. DeDusters have helped many customers earn a return on their investment in as little as a few weeks, thanks to reduced scrap rates, increased production and improved quality of the end product.
