Specialist for the Handling of first-class Bulk Solids:

Zeppelin presents its latest complete package.

Plants for the Plastic and Rubber Industry.

At this years‘ trade fair K2004 in Dusseldorf Zeppelin Silo- und Apparatetechnik GmbH, Friedrichshafen will present its latest complete package for the Plastic and Rubber Industry. This company, which is active in the whole world, has become one of the market leaders in the filed of storing, conveying, blending of high-quality bulk solids after the acquisition of Motan Materials Handling GmbH (one of the leading manufacturers of plants for the Rubber Industry).

Zeppelin is the only company worldwide which manufactures the main components for the logistic plants by itself. Apart from storage and blending silos, also diverter valves, rotary feeders as well as components for the product purification (such as elutriator, cyclone and drum screens) are part of this product range. In this way the company group does not only ensure the first-class quality of the turn-key plants but it also avoids interference and guarantees an optimum coordination regarding the installation of the single parts of the plant.

From the consulting for logistics and the engineering up to the manufacturing of the main components, the erection of the plant as well as the commissioning, Zeppelin offers their customers an all-round service. More and more often the company appears as a joint venture company – and as a syndicate leader it delivers turn-key logistic plants starting with the storing and the conveying up to the loading and packaging.

Corresponding to the philosophy of the company which is to ensure a maximum customers’ orientation and thus highest customers’ satisfaction, the necessary consequence is to re-organize the company after the taking-over of Motan Material Handlings GmbH. The business fields of Zeppelin Silo- und Apparatetechnik will be organized as follows in future:

Plants for plastic processors and logistic plants – in this case large turn-key plants with silo and conveying technology (pneumatic and hydraulic conveying) including all components are offered. In this field Zeppelin belongs to the worldwide leading companies.

Plants for plastic processors of the Rubber and Tire Industry – from the silo which is smoothly adapted to the total concept up to turn-key plants for the Rubber and Carbon Black Industry (including dosing, weighing and blending). In this business field you can also find the components for the conveying technology.

Worldwide Sales Network – Central Technology Center.

The industrial group Zeppelin has got subsidiaries in all important centers of the Rubber and Tire Producing and Processing Industry. With daughter companies in Belgium (large silos are produced there and transported to the customers all over the world by sea-freight), engineering and sales subsidiaries in the USA, China, India, Italy, Singapore and Brazil (the subsidiary in Brazil does not only handle the engineering but also produces silos for the South American Market) guarantee a maximum availability for all customers.

The technology center is established in Friedrichshafen where the mother company is located. In the technology center bulk solids tests are carried out in an industrial scale, new components are developed and plant designs are developed in 1:1 scale.

New Products which will be presented at the Trade Fair K2004

At this years’ trade fair the company group Zeppelin will focus the interest on the topics „blending“ (a completely new concept of a blending silo will be presented which completes the product range with 7 different blending types), „product purification“ (components which remove dust and angel hair from the conveyed pellets, e. g. elutriator) as well as new components for conveying technology (among others a new rotary feeder, which has been developed especially for PTA, will be presented for the first time ever).

Besides product novelties in this field, the Polymer Alliance will be one of the highlights at the booth. The Polymer Alliance is an alliance between the companies Zeppelin, Haver & Boecker (located in Oelde – one of the leading manufacturers of bagging stations) and JSW (located in Tokio – extruders, pelletizing). This alliance supplies turn-key plants starting with the extruder and the logistics up to packaging and warehouse management.

You will find Zeppelin at the trade fair K2004 in Dusseldorf at the booths 9C 22 and 9B 55 in hall no. 9.
