Harper International and Fricke & Mallah GmbH Sign License Agreement
Harper International and Fricke & Mallah Microwave Technology of Germany have signed a licensing agreement to expand the marketing of microwave systems in the U.S. and Europe.
Microwave processing has found increasing applications in advanced ceramics for binder removal, the drying of honeycomb ceramics, sintering, and co-sintering of materials. Additional applications have reduced the processing times for powders and liquids in Chemical Processing, Pharmaceuticals, Investment Casting cores and molds, as well as the preheating of organic and inorganic materials during the fabrication of high tech composites.
Fricke & Mallah will market Harpers patented microwave rotary furnace systems in Europe and Harper will market continuous, batch, and research microwave units supplied by Fricke & Mallah throughout North America. Both Companies will be exhibiting at Ceramitec in Munich, Germany September 16th to 20th at Hall A2 Booth 321.
