Über 40.000 Fachbesucher fanden den Weg nach Friedrichshafen

1.705 Aussteller und weitergehend auch die über 40.000 Fachbesucher (41.856) der 19. Fakuma 2008, Internationale Fachmesse für Kunststoffverarbeitung, zeigten sich relativ unbeeindruckt von der aktuellen weltweiten Finanzkrise und wandten sich demonstrativ ihrem Business zu. Der objektiv sehr gute Eindruck wird nach Angaben des Veranstalters, der P.E. Schall GmbH & Co.KG (www.schall-messen.de), dadurch verstärkt, dass von den 1.705 Ausstellern exakt 480 aus dem nahen und fernen Ausland kamen und dass auch bei den 41.856 Fachbesuchern mit gut 20 Prozent ein vergleichsweise hoher Anteil aus dem Ausland den Weg nach Friedrichshafen an den Bodensee fand.

Naturgemäß kam der größte Anteil an Herstellern und Anbietern von Maschinen, Anlagen, Werkzeugen, Peripheriegeräten, Rohmaterialien und Hilfsstoffen, technischen Halbzeugen und Fertigprodukten sowie Dienstleistungen aus Deutschland (1.225), gefolgt von der Schweiz (125), Italien (82) und Österreich (50). Nachdem zur 18. Fakuma im Jahr 2006 1.445 Aussteller präsent waren und die Messe Friedrichshafen im Jahr 2008 um zwei weitere Hallen erweitert wurde, verzeichnete der private Messeveranstalter mit nunmehr 1.705 Ausstellern aus 35 Ländern der Erde einen neuen Rekord. Die Ausstellungsfläche wuchs von 67.000 m im Jahr 2006 auf 81.100 m im Herbst 2008 und mit den 1.705 Ausstellern war das jetzt 12 hochmoderne Hallen umfassende Messezentrum Friedrichshafen denn auch gleich komplett belegt.
Gutes Nachmessegeschäft erwartet
Mehr Aussteller denn je, mit plus 13.000 m deutlich mehr Ausstellungsfläche, sehr hohe Internationalität bei Ausstellern und Fachbesucher, zig Weltneuheiten, unzählige schnell nutzenbringende Innovationen - und trotzdem konnte die Fakuma ihr ganz besonderes Flair bewahren. Dazu sagte Paul E. Schall, Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter des Messeunternehmen P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG: "Der Branchentreff Fakuma ist offensichtlich als eine der weltweit wichtigsten Business-Plattformen für die Kunststoffverarbeiter akzeptiert. Die deutschen Vertreter konnten im 1. Halbjahr 2008 von einem hohen Niveau aus nochmals um 4,4 % zulegen. Betrachtet man die 19. Fakuma nun als eine Art Trend-Barometer, sieht es schon so aus, dass die Kunststoffbranche dem von Berufspessimisten eher herbeigeredeten Abschwung trotzen kann. Jedenfalls zeigten sich sehr viele Aussteller aus dem In- und Ausland sehr zufrieden und gehen von einem guten Nachmessegeschäft aus".
Hohes Medieninteresse
Bestätigt wurde dies im Übrigen auch von zahlreichen Fachbesuchern, von denen zum Beispiel über 70% angaben, mehr oder weniger direkt in Investitionsentscheidungen eingebunden zu sein und dass so manche Investition aus Wettbewerbsgründen heraus kaum aufgeschoben werden kann. Ein weiteres Indiz für die hohe und breite Akzeptanz der Fakuma ist auch daran abzulesen, dass die 19. Fakuma 220 Medienvertreter aus 15 Industrieländern und damit so viele Fachjournalisten und Redakteure wie nie zuvor begrüßen durfte. Damit sei zugunsten aller Aussteller eine breite Berichterstattung gewährleistet, die den Ruf der Fakuma etwa als Spritzgießtechnik-Zentrum Nr. 1 weit über die Grenzen Europas hinaus verbreitet und festigt. Die 20. Fakuma findet vom 13. bis 17. Oktober 2009 wieder in der Messe Friedrichshafen statt und will als Jubiläums-Veranstaltung der Branche den Weg in die kunststofftechnische Zukunft über den Zeitraum 2010 hinaus aufzeigen.
