Pressure Angle

Hi crkranz,

Fly ash is an aglomorate of various particles with widely varying properties. It settles in lenses through the bins. It can bind on a vertical face, so no side pressure is exerted - depending on the moisture content.

At a rough guess think of cement.

Better still, take several samples with different particle size and measure the angle of repose.
