Sven: to properly, intelligently answer your question, i will have to do a screening sizing utilizing VSMA mathematical equation and then double check the BED DEPTH calc and then make a recommendation.
Be back soon. George BAker
I hope someone can help me or someone has experience with this type of application. I have a customer who requires a wet screen to screen out at 300tph of minus 65mm Sand and Gravel (only 15tph 2-65mm)
They want to separate at 1mm and 2mm with lots of water in the feed and from the sprays.
See feed Grading below:-
Many thanks,

Hi George, have you had chance to look at this? ■
Fine Screening
Hi,
I hope someone can help me or someone has experience with this type of application. I have a customer who requires a wet screen to screen out at 300tph of minus 65mm Sand and Gravel (only 15tph 2-65mm)
They want to separate at 1mm and 2mm with lots of water in the feed and from the sprays.
See feed Grading below:-
65mm - Passing 100%
2mm - Passing 95%
1mm - Passing 90%
0.5mm - Passing 60%
We are planning on doing this on 1 big single deck low angle screen with the first section of the screen separating at 1mm and the final 1m in length separating at 2mm. Could anyone advise me on:-
- What type of machine would you offer?
- What Speed and Throw would you recommend?
- What type of decks would you use?
- What types of slots/apetures would you use?
- What sort of screening efficiency would you be looking at?
In my experience putting a great deal of water in the feed and from the sprays will actually wash the material through the deck rather than the conventional screening which would reduce the size drastically.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Many thanks,
Sven ■
