Finished Good Inspection Standards

Dear Experts,

Understood that there are many standards for ensuring the finished goods quality of fabric and steel cord conveyors before dispatched for the customers. Canadian , Japanese, Australian, German, South African and ISO are named few of the standards. There could be others also. Please bear with me for my ignorance.

I would like to know which is the best and widely used standard? It is possible that in each category ( say Abrasion resistant, Tensile strangth of Warp etc., ) there could be one or more standards can be better ( or well defined ) than others.

I would like to know the best standard in each category. Having global market is established since many years, we should have best standard in each testing method. This will be beneficial for both customer and the supplier ( -since the best manufacturer will have competitive technical edge than the others ).

Request your answers for both fabric and steel cord conveyors with standards / reference in each testing need.

Regards,

The widely used standard should be ISO, API, MTC and others.

Standards must have to be followed in any business. My friend is working in IDF Marketing and according to him they are strict about their standards.
