Flow and exchange behaviour in theory and experiment

This is a hint to my downloadable broshure, that I tried to translate into english over the recent weeks.

The published measuring results for the different phenomena that can be observed, when dealing with bulk materials, were combined using uniform and intermeshing physical basics. The algorithms thus developed allow to estimate for example the material discharge from silos, size and power consumption of pneumatic conveying lines, as well as heat transfer and catalytic gas phase reactions in fluidized beds, mostly applying up to industrial dimensions. In addition, in many cases the boundaries become clear, which should not be exceeded in experiments in laboratory scale.

Literature researches, as they underlie this brochure, are despite the ubiquity of the Internet even today only possible with the help of technical-scientific libraries. A godsend in this respect, is the bulk-online portal. In the forum on the subject of pneumatic conveying exists meanwhile a real fund, that however can only with great effort be utilized. These data are the basis for the considerations contained in the broshure’s appendix, which are based on my universal state diagram and my software.

Together with the broshure comes a computer program, that includes a database. This software allows the quick and direct use of the describt algorithms for evaluation and design of processes, apparatuses and equipment. This free software is written in Visual Basic and runs even under Windows 7 (32 bit).

Broshure in English and German and the version of the software can be downloaded from the following link:
