Innovative IBC design for poor flow powders in food and pharma processing

Cost effective alternative to vibrating discharge station

Solids handling equipment specialist, Ajax Equipment announces a new range of Lynflow Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) for the storage and transportation difficult flow bulk materials. Using an innovative outlet design to prevent arching and ratholing during discharge, the IBCs allow mass flow without the need for vibrating discharge stations.

Fully interchangeable with traditional shaped bins, the polypropylene moulded IBCs draw on the latest developments in bin design technology to provide gravity flow discharge of bulk materials. By focussing on the geometry and generous radii of the outlet, the Lynflow bins ensure mass flow and significantly reduce the headroom normally required with this type of bulk container.

The smooth, low friction internal surface of the bins enhances their potential to provide significant flow improvements over conventional bins. Moreover, the Lynflow IBCs provide process engineers with a cost-effective alternative to high maintenance, vibrating discharge stations, while the seamless moulded construction also addresses the hygienic limitations often associated with inbuilt bin and discharging systems.

Competitively priced, the Lynflow bins are available in 3 cubic litre capacities and have mouldings with full FDA accreditation.

Test bins are available for site trials and, being interchangeable with conventional bins, offer an opportunity to prove their performance with minimum inconvenience and cost.
