NORRES extends its portfolio of electrically conductive hoses

CP PTFE-INOX 475 EC excels with a combination of flexibility and heat resistance

The electrically conductive CP PTFE-INOX 475 EC suction and blast hose is the newest addition to the NORRES product range. This hose is particularly suitable for transporting combustible bulk materials and for use in hazardous areas. With its robust construction and excellent heat resistance, it is ideal for exhausting aggressive gaseous media like vapours and smoke. The CP PTFE-INOX 475 EC was designed for all temperatures from approximately -150°C to +250°C. It even withstands heat up to around +270°C for short periods. The hose offers good chemical resistance, especially to acids and bases as well as UV and ozone; it is flexible and kink-proof, and has minimal counterforce and restoring force when bent.

The CP PTFE-INOX 475 EC achieves an optimal throughput of aggressive solids such as dust, powder and fibres and is thus predestined for dust removal and suction plants. A highly flexible hose that is compressible 4:1, it can additionally be used for bellows or expansion joints. Due to its light weight, it is easy to handle and easy to fit as a component of a machine.

The CP PTFE-INOX 475 EC is a NORRES CP clamp profile hose. All CP clamp profile hoses are based on a patented design: they feature a spring steel wire firmly embedded in the wall and are welded from spiral material. This patented design with a clamp profile supporting spiral, manufactured entirely from stainless steel, and a wall in PTFE coated glass fabric boasts a surface resistance < 106 Ω. The outer profile protects against abrasion while the round profile guarantees good, even distribution of the clamping force. What's more, the hose wall is firmly clamped in the profile. The hose can be ordered in cut lengths or special lengths, and a double-layer wall design is available as an option. Customized hose types with other supporting spiral pitches of the clamp profile or non-standard dimensions are likewise not a problem.
