You're absolutely wasting your time. There is no such thing as aluminum outside an American dictionary.
Perhaps your quest concerns Aluminium which, as all those with some scientific knowledge will recognise, is an element in the Boron Group having an Atomic Number 13.
It is the 3rd most abundant material in the world and this probably explains why the Yanks try to change its name. It was named by Sir Humphrey Davy in 1808 which might also contibute to Uncle Sam's dropping of a single letter i. To expand on Gore Vidal's observation that "History will only remember America for Hollywood." I think "History will forget aluminum." by definition. Come on you Patriots: give it some. ■
