Tearing of Paper Bags for Loading

Posted in: , on 19. Dec. 2009 - 12:56

We are looking for a solution to tear paper bags and load them in to a hopper that would convey the powder to a mixer. Manually done today creates a lot of dust and requires a lot of work. I heard there are systems that are nade to handle this quickly and with less dust.

If you can direct me to manufacturers of such that would be a lot of help. Thanks.

What do you think about

fast truck unloading of the bags, with an enclosure with dust collector

then you feed the bin with a belt or chain conveyor

you should be right, designer, but it depends on the quantity

if a person can manage to put one by one on a belt ... you are right

but

if you have to unload 10 trucks per hour it looks different ...

Read the first post, he's feeding the bag contents to a mixer not loading a 500 te silo.
