Procurement of Lime

Dear Forum Members

I need 12,000 tons of Calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2 per year or 10,000 Calcium Oxide CaO per year.

Our consumption is rougly 1000 tons per month. If I were to source it from out of the country, where is the nearest supply to our port, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Across the Red sea is Egypt and Sudan. Land neighbours are Jordan the UAE.

You may know Calcium oxide can not be sent open since it will absorb moisture. Please intimate packing quantity for easy handling at your end. ■
