I am looking for a dryer for lignite.

In the past we use tubular dryer, but now its hard to find suppliers.

The capacity shall be 30 t/h.

The reduction of the moisture shall be from 30% to 12%.

The drying media is steam with a temperature of appr. 150 degree C.

How can hepl me to find a supplier?

Thanks

I can help you to find a supplier for your dryer.

There are two kind of Tubular Dryer: one is rotary dryer with builit-in heat exchanger; another is probably tubular dryer.

The diameter for rotary dryer with built-in heat exchanger ranges from 1 meter to 4 meters.

I will send you the pictures of these two kind of dryer if you need.

Steam Dryer

I was earlier a sales manager in Norway for a drying technology similar to what you are asking for. Steam pressure 6-20bar, temp. 120-200 deg and it has a max evap capacity of 10 tonnes water per hour. A good dryer.

Alternate

There is a serious alternative only just come onto the market.

Microwave drying of coal by Drycol Australia. Tests have resently been done on high insitue moisture coals. Testwork showed a good effieciency in taking the moisture from ~20% down to 8%

Microwave drying is without doubt the most effiecient and safest way of drying high inherent moisture coals.

Lf Pumping - Ultimate Dryer Of A Growing Range Of Materials

Posted on 12. Feb. 2009 - 10:26

There is another serious alternative to drying this material.

With energy prices set to rise over the next 5 years, we know this system will be of great interest to you, either as a pre-dryer for your existing drying systems or as a standalone drying, pumping or material handling unit.

The key Points associated with this unique environmental system, compared to any known rotary, ventura, vibrating fluid bed, or static fluid bed drying systems for materials are:-

•Guaranteed energy savings, as there is no requirement for any gas, gas/oil or diesel fuels, to generate heat source to dry materials.

•Reduced carbon footprint.

•Operational advantages throughout the transportation, drying, and delivery process.

•Compact size.

•Guaranteed Low maintenance costs.

•Minimal disruption of integrating system in to current process line.

•Liquids, sludges, and aggregates up to 75mm.

•Bespoke systems can dry sand from 60% moisture content down to 0.3%.

•Bespoke systems can handle up to 500 tonnes per hour.

What materials can be dry, pump, or material handle? http://lfpumping.com/material-handling.php

We are confident that this system offers to you the very latest cutting edge technology, packed with financial and delivery savings. We look forward to discussing all your transporting, drying, crushing, and grading applications.

Lf Pumping - Operating Costs For This Scenario

Based on the information on this thread I thought i would offer for guidance only a operating cost analysis for The LamiFlo Unit drying this Lignicite from 30% down to less than 12%.

To firm up this operating cost, we will need to run your product through our test facilities.

LamiFloTM Drying

1. Energy Usage (MJ) / tonne 38.4

- Gasoil (litres) / tonne NA

- Electricity (kW) / tonne 10.66

2. Operating Costs (£) / tonne £0.75

3. Carbon Emissions (kg) / tonne 5.73 kg

Based on £0.07 per kW for electricty costs

The estimated operating costs exc licence and maintenance fee.

Lignite Dryer

Hello Mr. Hahn,

We at Helitherm would like to offer you an alternative solution for drying lignite using steam as the heat transfer medium. Our technology is using "HOLO-flo" Twin Screw Dryer. It is basically a screw type heat exchanger indirectly heating coal for drying.

We would like to discuss further if you send us a brief description of your application at n.nicdao@yahoo.com.

Thank you.

You can send us your intentions in detail.

We are experience designer & maker for coal dryer using saturated steam.

A boiler & heat exchanger is a must in your process.

Microwave Drying

Consider microwave drying. The efficiency is high, and the Drycol Process does not heat up the coal over 90deg c.

Fluid Bed Drying

Posted on 2. Jul. 2009 - 09:15

There are already allot of interesting options on this thread for coal drying, but I thought I would still thow one more into the mix.

We manufacture shaking fluid bed dryers. The fluid bed drying process generally delivers higher energy efficiency and smaller machines than your typical rotary drying technique. I believe it would be worth your while to look at our website and send us an email to get some more information.

I want a best suitable and economically viable technology for Indonesian lignite drying. The cost of the drying is also an important parameter. I import lignite from Indonesia and sell it in India. The technology must be profitable for me. Till now I am selling lignite without drying.
