ROTEX Europe has completed its first commission for the ROTEX Plastic Pellet screener, a new screening machine specifically designed to screen smaller volumes of plastic pellets extremely efficiently.
The innovative machine, which was delivered and commissioned for a major Spanish colour concentrates producer, will be used to screen PS, PE and PP plastic pellets at a rate of 1,500 kg per hour.
Managing Director Martin Hawley said: “The new plastic pellet screener is extending our business with plastics companies as we are now able to offer a product that screens smaller volumes at maximum efficiency and overcomes the problem of upstanding pellets (longs) passing through the screener, which is a problem with many other vibratory screeners. We have had tremendous interest in the product and this is the first of a number of commissions for the plastic pellet screener across Europe.”
ROTEX Europe has just secured a further order for the plastic pellet screener for a similar application from an Italian customer, following successful on-site trials on the ROTEX demo unit confirming the screening accuracy and efficiency of the machine.
For higher screening capacities, ROTEX Europe offers the plastic industries its full range of famous gyratory ROTEX screeners, which feature one to five screening decks.
