FormPak can provide a system to mix powders with liquids or powders with air. These systems have been successfully installed and operated in water treatment plants, air treatment silo's, and soon into food and other dry to liquid plants.
The systems utilize a BagFlo bulk bag unloader (fork lift of hoist loaded), a volumetric or gravimetric feeder, and either a wetting cone into an eductor (for solid to liquid) or a simple drop tube into an eductor (for solid to air). The systems come complete with all requisite controls and operator interfaces. Installation only requires that the lower and upper halves of the unloader are bolted together, power is run to the machine, and the liquid or air source and delivery hoses are connected. These have been used with products such as hydrated lime, precipitated calcium carbonate, fly ash, carbon black, soda ash, etc. We even offer free testing of these systems in our lab.
