The CONCETTI GROUP is proud to inform that SOLVAY CHEMICALS has recently entrusted us with the installation of a complete packaging line for Solvay’s new production of BICAR®, Sodium Bicarbonate, in Bernburg, Germany.
The fully automatic bagging system is constituted by:
• one net weigher with double screw infeed
• one FFS machine that forms, fills and seals plastic bags from a tubular reel, model “CONTINUA 1200” featuring three deaeration probes and a device to open-clean-close-seal the upper bag edges
• one metal detector with a device to automatically eject all contaminated bags
• one low-level push-type palletiser
• one strech-hood machine.
Alongside this line, a weighing and filling unit for Big Bag will also be installed.
All the machines of both bagging units are designed to be resistant to aggressive powders.
The weigher and the CONTINUA 1200 are entirely manufactured in stainless steel! (See photo.)
