THE PRIMASONICS® NEW ‘GRP'™RANGE OF ACOUSTIC CLEANERS

Following extensive trials, Primasonics International announce the introduction of their new ‘GRP’™ range of Audiosonic™Acoustic Cleaners to complement their existing high quality ‘PAS’™ spun stainless steel range.

The ‘bell’ sections are made from a special glass reinforced polymer composite which gives them high strength without the excess weight associated with older cast iron models. The texturised glass yarns are manufactured from high performance E’ Glass filaments. The yarns are then texturised by passing over high pressure air jets to produce lofted yarns with predetermined bulk. The glass fibre ‘mats’ are woven to the required bell shape of the particular Acoustic Cleaner and are totally enclosed in Ebolam resins, both externally and internally.

The two materials act together, each enhancing the properties of the other. The glass fibres are very strong in tension but have comparatively little compressive strength, whereas the resin has a very strong compressive loading. Thus when combined, they provide the GRP™ Acoustic Cleaner range with both excellent compressive and tensile forces. Like the spun stainless steel PAS™ Acoustic Cleaner range, this new GRP™ range also has a very smooth internal finish which is essential in order to achieve continued peak performance. Food grade polymer versions are also available.

Initially the new GRP™ Acoustic Cleaner range will be restricted to the GRP-75 and GRP-60 models, which are mainly installed on silos, filters and spray driers and offer a distinctive price advantage over their stainless steel equivalent model.

Primasonics® Acoustic Cleaners have been installed in a wide range of dry processing, storage and power generation industries in over 45 countries world wide.
