hello, sorry if this is in the wrong place or wrong forum totally.

i have a pita bread bakery, and currently we allow the bread to fall off the oven into trays, when the tray is full we move it along a table to a fan that cools them down and ready to pack.

i want to make a 12 foot long conveyor belt and put fans under it to cool the bread down and let it fall to a table and be ready for packing once it gets off the conveyor belt.

i want to use this flatflex type of belt

i cant seem to find a sealer for it though or someone that sales something like it..

i also need to figure out sprockets, do i buy a shaft and put like 4 sprockets on, or does that all come one piece for flatflex?

you may consider a dust tight chain conveyor which can handle up to 750 oC

can charge and discharge, dosing, and variable speed

horizontal and vertical feed

look at the pictures for a first view

Greetings and salutations Seesoe,

Sorry for not seeing this earlier as today

is a slow day with bad weather and I am

playing catch up at home.

No knowing your location is a bit of a problem but;

For your use:

If you are running a small bakery and have the floor space perhaps the simpler way to handle

this is by having a stainless steel table on wheels built for the exit point of the oven with a

food grade mesh basket covering the the top of the table which cooler air is blown through the

mesh up through the pita bread for however many minutes you would require to do the cool

down of the bread load.

Then when the pita bread is cooled down the table and mesh basket can be rolled over to the

packaging area and dumped out for further processing/ packaging.

Using a small blower with a two or three layer set of good furnace filters acting as and air filter

over the air inlet side of the mesh basket to eliminate dust and using a small air duct

blowing the cooling air up through the mesh basket would work.

Working with a sheet metal shop to procure the stainless steel and stainless mesh for this

this will take a few hours work.

Please look at www.grainger.com as they have an extensive inventory of fans

thank you all for your suggestions. i went ahead and built my own system.

i ended up using this

http://www.flatflexbelts.com/FlatFle...-per-foot.html

at 2 feet wide and 12 feet long

it is driven by a 24v dc motor with custom controlling module.

i will see if i can post some pictures up later this week.

thanks again
