We are seeking a Senior Engineer with experience of Multi Body Dynamics to serve in a technical leadership role as a member of the worldwide DEM Solutions Engineering team. The role is to focus on developing coupled solutions between our Discrete Element Method software EDEM and 3rd party Mutli Body Dynamics (MBD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
This position does not require previous experience with EDEM, but such experience would enhance the candidate’s application.
The successful candidate will work as a part of the worldwide engineering team which has the following general responsibilities:
Product Support – provide technical support for EDEM customers worldwide and assist our clients in deploying EDEM technology.
Customer Training – provide EDEM training for academic and commercial clients.

Marketing Support – provide engineering support for marketing projects.
EDEM® is the leading Discrete Element Method (DEM) software for bulk material flow simulation and is developed, marketed, and sold by DEM Solutions Ltd.
EDEM is used for ‘virtual testing’ of equipment that handles or processes bulk materials in the manufacturing of mining, construction, off-highway and agricultural machinery, as well as in the mining and process industries.
First released in 2006, EDEM is powered by the Company’s state-of-the-art DEM simulation technology, and it is also the underlying technology platform for EDEM BulkSim® and EDEM Academic™ software.
Companies worldwide that handle or process bulk materials such as coal, ores, soil, pellets, and powders deploy EDEM technology to:
optimize equipment design and performance
enhance product innovation
increase productivity and operational efficiencies for greater profitability
improve understanding of complex bulk particle systems
DEM Solutions works closely with leading technology partners to integrate EDEM and develop co-simulation solutions with other CAE tools such as finite element analysis (FEA), multi-body dynamics (MBD) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). ■
