We are currently working on behalf of one of Australia's Leading Conveyor belt companies, supplying outsourced conveyor belt solutions to the mining Industry for over a century.

Due to recent contract gains they require experienced belt splicers that have worked on steel corded belts to work for this well-established and growing company in Western Australia.

Successful candidates will be responsible for day to day activities relating to conveyor belt repair and maintenance, which requires first class belt splicing and vulcanising skills and experience.

All positions are offered on a Fly-in-Fly-out basis (FIFO).

Person Specification

* Minimum of 4 years experience in repairs, installation and maintenance of steel cord or fabric conveyor belts

* Rubber belt maintenance or splicing qualifications or other relevant skills certification an advantage

* Experience in Hot Splicing of steel cord belts is essential

* Lagging of pulleys and idlers

* Conveyor belt inspections as required

Statutory Requirements

* Ability to meet strict criteria to obtain an Australian working Visa

* Ability to undertake and pass the IELTS test for English language (if English is not your first language)

* Hold a current valid passport, allowing you to travel internationally

* Have NO criminal convictions

* Ability to provide references covering the last 5 years of employment
