Dust Collector On A Transfer Point
There are many factors that need to be considered
How dusty is your material?
First of all what are you local regulations for fugitive dust emmissions?
Are you near local polulation?
Disregarding the above if your concentrate will creates dust you should install a collector. It needs to be located above the receiving conveyor so that dust return in placed back on the leaving conveyor.
When real dusty and no collector is installed this becomes unsafe for people to enter the area for maintenance.
If your material in not very dusty (has some moisture remaining in it) you may be able to use an engineered chute and avoid all the cost associated with dust collection.
Without more info it is impossible to provide more direction. ■
