This experience includes sea transportation, project management, port planning, construction and operation all within the cement, aggregates and related bulk handling industries. We have in-house electronic drafting capabilities (AutoCad®), 3D modeling software for conceptual layout visualization, and other electronic tools for design, project management and production of report deliverables. If the scope of our services includes actual construction activities, we dedicate an on-site project coordinator for the duration of our sevices.

Being independent from any particular service or construction company, we are free to select the best firms in the market for the project. Our fee schedule does not include mark-ups from third party services, we pass along these at cost and invoice strictly our time of service.

The idea of starting Klabco comes from the founders' own professional experience of decades of involvement in capital expansion projects in general and in port projects and port operations in particular. For it to be properly managed and controlled by the owners, a major port capital expansion project requires great amount of time and dedication on the part of a high level in-house project manager with specific experience in the subject. This is sometimes not readily available. We offer a management service with no mark-ups underlined by overall project costs, becoming a de-facto member of the owner's organization up to the extend our services are requested by the client.
SPECIALIZED SERVICES
Specialized services like draft surveying, contractual legal, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, environmental, etc, are secured through a network of known providers, taking advantage of our knowledge of companies with proven track record in the industry. We are very knowledgeable of equipment providers for the handling of bulk materials in a port setting, understand their equipment pros and cons and are able to take advantage of the services some provide above and beyond just supplying a piece of hardware. For manufacturing, construction and erection we approach companies with proven track record in the size and type of work under consideration, conduct meetings and prepare bidding packages and/or recommend a particular one to the owners for their approval.
INTEGRATORS
In the process of planning, designing, building and operating a cement terminal, a diverse set of professional services have to be managed individually and orchestrated as a whole during different stages of the project.
We integrate all these players and become the sole point of contact as the project flows its natural cycle from feasibilities analysis to commissioning. Individual schedules are consolidated into a master project schedule. Project functions as they related to contractual, procurement, project management, quality control are coordinated through the integrating party.
OWNERS AGENTS
At the onset of the project, a steering committee is formed composed of owners' representatives (at owners discretion) and the Klabco integrator. The steering committee conducts schedule meetings at appropriate intervals for the particular stage of the project. The steering committee reports to owner's management via deliverables predetermined in form and content. Our representative in the steering committee becomes a de-facto member of the owners organization for the duration of the project.
