Delft Solids Solutions is a research laboratory in The Netherlands, consisting of a team of professionals with over 20 years of experience in particle characterization. Our main activities focus on physical characterization and research of powders and solids for different applications, covering the pharmaceutical, food, and (petro-) chemical industry.
Descriptors such as particle size, shape, specific surface area, porosity, pore size and density are primarily investigated. These parameters are crucial in the behavior of powders and solids in view of transport, storage and application. In our laboratory we can correlate e.g. flowability and floodability of powders with these primary parameters for an improved understanding of the powder behavior. This expertise and infrastructure has proven to be very effective in troubleshooting and problem solving.
The broad range of equipment in our laboratory covers a wide variety of different physical parameters that can be correlated with the materials behavior.
