Business procedures

We have adapted the following international procedures for our business; the only way to protect our sellers and buyers against the “paper deals” of today

1) To obtain quote please send LOI ( Letter of Intent) with the following information:

Exact product information

Total quantity requested per shipment and in total if applicable

Country and port of destination

Quantity and volume of daily discharge

Vessel(s)

Payment Terms

Does the LOC (Letter of Credit) cover full or partial contract (vessels). If LOC is transferable, divisible, issued and confirmed by a top 50 bank.

2) Types of letters of credit:

SBLC(3034)- Standby Letter of Credit

FFDLC- Fully funded Letter of Credit

RLC- Revolving Letter of Credit

DLC- Documentary Letter of Credit

After receiving the soft quote, wishing to get a FCO (Full Corporate Offer), Please send us BCL on your bank’s letterhead and signed by two (2) bank officers.

3) Procedures to issue the contract with supplier:

Buyer issues LOI + BCL

Seller, after checking the buyer’s bank information, issues the FCO

Buyers send the fully signed FCO to seller

Seller issues the contract to the buyer

Buyer sends the contract signed and stamped to the seller. Within five (5) banking days, the buyer’s bank sends to the seller’s bank, via SWIFT a message of POF and the seller send the buyers bank via SWIFT a message of POP, there after if both parties are satisfied the buyers bank send via SWIFT a non-operative letter of credit.

The seller, after receiving the bank confirmation, sends the Proof of Product and deposits the Performance Bond within seven (7) banking days, switching the letter of credit to operative.

Seller sends all original sets of documentation to the Buyer, including vessels and quality certificates

Vessel(s) commence(s) as agreed in the contract.

Important Notes:

The seller does not send any proof of product certificates of goods storage without the above procedures. Any procedures different than the above mentioned will not be acceptable in order to protect our Seller(s).
