New Idler Manufacturing Facility in Pennsylvania

Conveyor Services Corporation (CSC) announced the opening of a new conveyor idler manufacturing facility in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. Under a technology licensing agreement with Lorbrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, CSC will manufacture low friction, maintenance free, heavy duty conveyor idlers for the mining industry.

Heading up the material handling division for Conveyor Services are Andrew I. Hustrulid as Vice President of Material Handling and Thomas Dolan Jr. as Vice President of Manufacturing. Conveyor Service President and CEO, Troy Dolan explains “The Lorbrand product has proved very successful in US coal and hard rock mines. With increasing demand for the product and continuing difficulties faced with importing we are left with no choice but to expand. We are excited about this new dimension the material handling division brings to the organization.”
