stumbled across this site by accident and was hoping that someone could give me some information about the sorts of utilities and services a cement plant uses. I have ruled out water as our group is researching a dry portland cement plant.

transformer yard 3 phase power 1000 ampere or greater 480 -600 volt motors and circuits for operations of belts and conveyors
screening plant/
apron feeders, primary screens<6 inch ROM ore
primary and secondaty crushers/ covered belt conveyors/centrifugal crushers/
screens to thirty mesh or smaller
rotary kiln fueled by waste oil/waste chemicals/fossil fuels
exhaust gas scrubbers
bag house for pollution control of fuel gas and cemennt kiln dust -two separate units
I probabaly missed something along the way ■
Tire Derived Fuel System
TDF and/or Wast fuel systems are a must for kilns.
