Telecopic Loading Chute with Bin Vent Type Dust Collector and Dirty Air Fan
Hi All,
I recall seeing a suppliers weg picciy of a shiploader loading spout with the bellows and a bin vent type dust collector on the top above the feeding station/conveyor head chute. The end of the loading spout was de dusted with a dirty air fan sucking/blowing dirty gas stream into the head space where the bin vent dust collector was operating.
The idea behind this is to avoid the potential full hopper dust loads from a conventional hopper type dust collector.
I would image that there would a a pressure / VVVF fan speed loop control to make sure that the head chute is not overpressurised.
Has anyone seen such a system in use that works well/OK...sounds like an interesting idea to reduce dust collector loads.
I gues that other alternative would be the insertable types located at the bottom of the loading chute.......I am not a big fan of the pleated bag type.s...so can not see a good case to have a decent size unit located at the bottom of the chute
