The 28L design is available with two kinds of piab vacuum conveyor systems, both available from Firing Industries: the piFLOW®i and the piFLOW®f. The piFLOW®i conveyor is widely used in general manufacturing and occasionally in the chemical sector. Among its benefits are high throughput performance and a small footprint. Businesses often use the piFLOW®i as an alternative to mechanical conveyors when the application requires either dust-free conveyance or low maintenance. The pump in this conveyor is based on COAX® technology, the most energy-efficient method of producing vacuum.
The piFLOW®f is a popular choice for applications that demand food-grade quality. It seals in direct product contact zones that comply with the United States Food and Drug Administration to meet the standards of industrial food-grade applications. Like the piFLOW®i, this conveyor offers high throughput performance, a small footprint, and COAX® technology, and it is also ideal as a substitute in tasks that need dust-free handling or low maintenance.
Both of these conveyors are built with 304 stainless steel bodies for wear resistance. They are ATEX-certified as far as dust and are available with either ejector-driven vacuum pumps or with mechanical pumps. ■
