Crusher Liner Failure

Posted in: , on 21. Jul. 2009 - 23:54

I am looking for pictures of typical casting failures to compare with those that we are experiencing in our cone crusher liners.

Does anyone know of a site that displays pictures for the layman of fatigue, gas voids, crystalline structure or any other common causes of failures?

Thanks...

You might try Columbia Casting, they do a lot of work for shovel bucket parts and crusher liners and cast the columbia drop cross boulder breaker etc.

I am sure they could help you.

Someone will show you his if you show him yours.

Let's see what's been going on, please.

Blow holes however small are easy to see. Fatigue and crystallography issues run hand in glove.

Show us the failures.

Wabi Iron & Steel would be able to help. They are a foundry and make all different types of cast liners.
