You need to work from engineering first principles that’s why you’ve got this assignment. Just look at the problem, apply some numbers to the engineering you have learnt. What good is an engineering qualification based on asking others to do your work?? ■

Your requirements appear similar to moving and indexing parts in any factory. I would think that your best guidance will com from the automotive manufacturing industrie and other similar industries not from bulk materials handling. Two companies come to mind that are active in both fields; Jervis B. Webb and Dearborne Midwest. I'm sure there are many others.

Things for you to think about...
Is the roller conveyor powered or gravity ?
Is the housing to sit directly on the rollers or will it be mounted on some form of skid?
How many rollers will the housing sit on at one time?
Is the alignment of the housing on the conveyor important?
Now think about these things and come up with some ideas. Your training should be all about you coming up with ideas and then turning them into solutions.
And as Joseph A. Dos Santos has said, this is a Bulk Materials site, so it doesn't really cover unit handling (which is what your problem is). ■
