Synchronizing multiple drives of a long-distance conveyor by VVFD is a regular thing now a days.

Can we achieve the load sharing of a 4 Drive Conveyor with the help of Scoop Couplings comfortably? Each Drive is of 500KW.

I feel that synchronizing multiple drives through VVFD is always an easier option. I am working on a Tender where the specifications ask for Scoop Couplings on a long distance conveyor.

I request all the experts to share issues faced while synchronizing more than two drives through Scoop Couplings. Is it as reliable as VVFD?
