It sounds like you have quite seriously overestimated your capabilities.

Try to provide some reasonable details. 500 tph is probably on a belt conveyor.

You are dealing with normal compaction from handling and gravities simple effects on the compacted ore and coke.

And as;

1. Your hoppers will have 10,400 cubic meters in useable capacity

Assuming the coke is 416 pounds per cubic meter you are dealing with a weight of:

10,400 cubuc yards times 416.5 pounds which is 4,331,600 pounds or 2,165.8 tons

Assuming the iron ore fines weigh 2.7 tons per cubic meter (compacted) your dealing

with 28,080 tons of weight just for the iron ore.

You have huge loading tonnage on one side and a not so big loading weight on the other.

You would be better off using 2 below grade stockpile drawpoints feeding two thirty six inch belts and implementing a pair of high speed material

thrower for the iron ore and coke to convey the material to the two conical stockpiles. you could simply build a separation barrier of sheet piling to keep the two

ores apart.

The use of an earth mower to feed the draw points when needed is done in many operations.

4. The individual hopper is 40 meters long

5. The individual hopper is to be piled 10 meters deep

6. You intend to remove 500 tons per hour per hopper
