Screw Design
It is not clear whether this application is for a conveeyor or a feeder and other information is needed to reply. A conveyor would need the length specifying, and guidence is available in CEMA publications or from many screw conveyor suppliers. On the other hand, a feeder is an integral part of a storage hopper and needs consideration of many additional factors. Specialist advice is strongly recommended. ■
Screw Conveyor Question
Dear all,
Being the newest member l want to share few of my doubts
1.what should be the minimum distance between flight to flight approx in the screw to avoid over loading of the motor.
2. A screw is designed to deliver 33 TPH of pulverised coal. Can any body say that what should be the rating of the motor & diameter of the screw? ■
