Dear Dave,

Normally, cement silos are loaded by a pneumatic bulk truck.

Depending on the size of the on board compressor, a 4”or 6”pipe is installed to the silo roof.

Additionally a self-cleaning filter is installed on top of the silo as well as an over- and under pressure safety valve.

In the pipeline, a pneumatic butterfly valve is installed, which closes the pipeline, when the silo is full.

Two level testers are installed to give a warning and to close the butterfly valve when the cement reaches high level.

Then you have to figure out, how to get the cement out of the silo.
