Bulk dispatch equipments on the top of silo

Posted in: , on 25. Aug. 2007 - 17:35

Dear sir,

Calcined coke is shiped to the dock and discharged into a silo with the diameter of 30m and the capacity of 10000t by the unloader. There is only one feed port and one discharge hatch of the silo.

Could you give me some information about the dispatch equipment on the top of silo ?

Looking for some dispatch equipments for coke storage.

Best regards

Could you please clarify the question for me?

"Could you give me some information about the dispatch equipment on the top of silo ?"

Are you seeking truck loaders for silos?

I do not sure.

Thanks and regards,

Lyle

Thanks sir,

Not truck loaders, It is something like dicharge chutes erected on the top of silos, which dispatch the coke into silo by many feed ports.

want to find a supplier .

I hope u can understand what i said.

I understand the question as: you are seeking a (possibly proprietary) device for distributing product within a silo.

Can you confirm?

Thanks and regards,

Lyle

What about:

http://www.pebco.com/ProdPgs/cascadechute.html

I do not believe this is the company that I originally saw distributing this product. I am not sure who actually created / owns the design. Not that it probably worries the end user.

An engineering solution may be the go, maybe a rill tower arrangement or if I recall correctly some people have internal chutes to minimise degradation etc.

What about a screw feeder or the like?

I am not sure if this addresses your queries.

Lyle
