Dear Oscar,

If your assignment is to design a new vibrating screen from scratch - this is a complex task and would normally only be undertaken by an engineer who is experienced in that field.

There is no such simple solution as a book on vibrating screen design, and the companies who manufacture such equipment (who have all spent considerable time and expense on development), will be unlikely to want to share this type of hard won knowledge with their competitors.

As you are employed by the Terex organization (who have several reputable screen manufacturing plants around the world), I suggest that you seek their internal assistance.

VSMA HANDBOOK: is strictly a "ASSUMPTIVE GUIDELINE" for the uses and applications involving different types of vibrating screens. Engineering data is a completely different type of data per John McKenzie response stated.

ps: THE vibrating screen industry has been well established for over 100 years and well defined styles of vibrating screen separation devices. No need to RE-invent the wheel here, lots of excellent source data is available worldwide.
