Vibrating feeder reference manual.

I posted this in another thread but didn't really get any response. I probably should have started a new thread.

Can anyone recommend a good, comprehensive, guide manual for designing and building shaker feeders. It seems like we are getting into this more and more, and I need some good reference manuals. I would like textbook type book with charts, calculations, examples, pictures, etc... I would prefer to spend less than $300.

Thanks,

Rob,

I don’t think such an animal exists.

Over the years various manufacturers have presented numerous papers that deal with the basics, but naturally they don’t want to disclose design knowledge that would benefit their competitors.

Likewise there are various academic treatises that deal at great length with the theoretical aspects ... which are of interest, but of limited direct application to the practical designer.

I too would be interested in such a single source of wisdom, but recon you may have to rely on multiple technical publications (each dealing with different design aspects).
