I have some notes (physical) here (from various sources though not vendors) that I could make available if you are interested. There are some words in CEMA.
Some of the vendors have info on their site, if you are interested, such as:

I can recall reading a paper of some description (though I am not sure that it was the paper you cite) in Bulk Handling Review (or the like) regarding selection and the like, however I no longer have access to the journals (they have been dumped – sacrilege I tell you).

What you want is a VSMA HANDBOOK, it is a beautifully easy read, completely dead on helpful and addresses ALL ISSUES to do with VIBRATING SCREENS in all of their aspects and operating parameters
