Trough Conveyor Idler Assembly

Posted in: , on 20. Jan. 2010 - 00:22

I have just visited websites while investigating a low grade

stainless steel for my Patent Applied for conveyor idler roll 'OneFits'. The grade of tubing required has to meet Australian Standards 1450-1983/2005 Grade350 equivalent. Does anyone know of a stainless steel that corrodes slightly to maintain a surface mill-scale similar to fine surface corrosion of standard steel tubing?

NOW Some Interesting news!

The company, Tamec Services Pty Ltd holds the Licence to promote my Patented conveyor products and is looking to licence the Patented products and other products, that I have already applied for Patent Protection on, to a number of companies around the world. I am also informed that the Directors are conducive to selling a significant portion of the company to help finance & better promote the products and expertise from investors in this area would be appreciated. It will also allow exposure to the World Markets which is considerable in volume.

'DunnEasy Idler'(Conveyor Idler Assembly) 'Patented' and check on the upgraded website for my new Patent Applied for 'OneFits' conveyor roll/roller. I have spent more than 23 years developing the design and 2009 was the year where it was finalized.

There are videos showing the testing with more than 1140Kgs on each

head(2.28 tonnes on the roll @ >1400 rpm). I have also hand fabricated 3 rolls, which will generally come as Weigh Scale from the fabrication line, and these 3 rolls have been in service at one of our major coal exporting sites since June 2009 without any sign of issues presenting themselves. ie:- Every roll Head utilizes the same CEMA 'G' [60mm dia 6312] rated composite bearing assembly from 3" to >9" diameter roll. Rolls can be single end mounted in many applications.

I have also been redrafting the DunnEasy which now comes as 'Flat Pack' for transportation.

Also modular conveyor linear structure for both Surface & Underground in

'ground mount or hanging structure' layout should be available shortly in drop-in connections in totally 'Flat Pack'. ie:- approximately 1 Km of structure and rolls will fit in a 40 ft container.
